I want to be a Visual Fx Designer

I am New to this forum.
I am very passionate to do VFX.
I want to became a visual Fx Designer.
I would like to join in VFS Vancouver Film School in 3D Animation and Visual Effects program.
I have very little bit knowledge about making of Visual effects in Films like Transformers,Iron Man, Hulk etc.
Please explain me how they do all these things,like Tutorials.
What should I learn to become a Visual Fx designer in Films.
