Video: Iceland volcano spews lava fountains of up to 100m (Bardarbunga eruption)


The second Holuhraun effusive lava eruption began early yesterday morning, and has produced considerably more lava than the first lava eruption in Holuhraun, Friday morning.

The lava streams are now several kilometres long and the fissure is believed to have been up to 1800 meters long. Lava fountains on the fissure extended up to 100 meters high.
