Above is the THU-inspired CG short film by the incredible talents at Techno Image (www.technoimage.com.br) in Brazil, which will be revealed in full in September.
The Techno Image team was originally invited to THU/2013 and enjoyed the experience so much that they volunteered to create this year’s mascot. Which they then decided to take even further into a short film! Here is a short explanation From Techno Image about how it all happened:
“One year ago some of us from Techno Image went to Trojan Horse was a Unicorn. After 4 intense days, we found out that one of the best events in the CGI market and arts in the world had just been created, especially by focusing much more on the artist, than in the market or technology. We left Portugal really different, and offered for doing this year’s poster. But the event deserved more… A little talk, plus our will and direction to produce animations and own content, and we are doing a film, which will be the event opening, next September.”
THU/2014 takes place on 17-20 September 2014.
