Qualcomm® Snapdragon Sense™ ID fingerprint technology, the latest in cutting-edge biometric fingerprint authentication, is now even more difficult to spoof with innovative liveness detection technology that uses ultrasonic waves to detect that it is an actual, live finger. Even stronger ultrasonics now scan through up to 400 µm of coverglass or up to 400 µm of metal, allowing for more device design and sensor placement options.
