Report Stephen Curry Made 77 Consecutive 3 Pointers in Practice, Hit 94 of 100

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has been lighting up the NBA this season, but perhaps his most impressive performance came during Tuesday’s practice.

According to ESPN.com, Curry made 77 consecutive three-pointers and hit 94 of his 100 attempts from downtown. You read that correctly: He nailed 77 three-pointers in a row. Not free throws, not layups. Three-pointers.

Both Golden State’s official Twitter account and its social media coordinator, Julie Phayer, confirmed the report is accurate:
ESPN.com has some video from the incredible performance.

Sure, Curry has already set an NBA single-season record by making 284 (and counting) long balls in 2014-15. However, he’s shooting only 44.2 percent from three-point range during games this year. He shot 94 percent during Tuesday’s practice.

With the NBA postseason right around the corner, the Warriors have to be thrilled to see that Curry is locked in.
