2D Animator

Experience: 1 to 10 years industry experience.

Job Description

• Create high quality 2D Flash and animation sequences by creating storytelling poses and putting them on model animate scene from rough to clean and complete work by the scheduled deadline.
• Perform one or more passes of revisions according to client/director notes.
• Draw in Adobe Flash to create designs/poses for animation sequences and layouts.
• Understand storytelling as told through Character emotion/movement.

Desired Skills

• Drawing skills are mandatory. (Creating Doodles, Characters etc.)
• Work both independently & collaboratively to create beautiful content for online, social and editorial.
• Working with in-house designers and video teams to create multimedia content.
• Able to pitch ideas efficiently to the team and wider company.
• Quickly be able to elevate a project through to animation once receiving the brief.
• Stand out portfolio and reel.

Software:

• Adobe Flash(must)
• Photoshop / Illustrator

Storyboard Artist

Experience:-  3+ years professional experience required; Animation experience preferred

Job Description

• Work with script writers and creative directors to create Sequential drawings, visual theme and art style for client’s skills.
• Ensure that the vision and style of the video is consistently adhered address notes from Director and Creative Supervisors.
• Collaborate with creative department heads and production to review goals and vision for the storyboards and discuss concerns, timelines and complexity, given the parameters of the schedule.
• Responsible for completing all deliverables on time and according to production schedule.
• Ensure that storyboard includes all final dialog, backgrounds, direction, and action by making drawing or text changes in description, dialog or numbering.
• Pitch storyboards to Director, crew and executives.
• Build captivating design that conveys emotive stories through animations and videos that will grab attention.
• Experiment with different creative techniques, tools, and mock up and prototype ideas and quickly produce strong conceptual animations using digital designs (storyboards and final executions) that are engaging, unique, and reflect a cohesive brand aesthetic
• Submit work that appropriately aligns with production and workflow guidelines, requirements (i.e., naming conventions and storage).

Desired Skills

• Strong comedic sensibilities.
• Ability to work from outlines or scripts.
• Ability to work digitally preferred, i.e. Digital GDI/ Photoshop.
• Ability to create action and humor expressed through drawing.
• Experience on multiple Television Series as a Story Artist.
• Strong drawing skills with a sense of design, character and composition.
• Understanding of cinematic and dramatic scene structure.

Layout Artist

Job Description

Need to have a solid understanding of perspective and space, and a keen eye for color then we have just what you’re looking for! As a BG Layout or BG Color artist, you’ll play a part in creating the environments for our projects.

Desired Skills

• Experience animating in a production environment;
• A strong working knowledge of Photoshop;
