Hasta La Motion!

Automotive is one of the industries with the most desperate need for innovation. While great things are happening in this space, with Tesla or Google self driving cars for example, most of todays cars are built and used like in the 1920s. Big corporations, trade secrets, enourmous entry barriers for new players. OSVehicle is changing all that. It’s an Open Source platform that enables anyone to build a car and assemble it in less than an hour. It’s basically doing to the transportation industry what Arduino did to electonic. It’s enabling new hardware and software companies, cool project about sustainability, electric engines and connected vehicles. We were really happy to take part of this project, helping them explain to the public that this was much more than the IKEA car described by the media. It’s an example of how Italy’s expertise and ideas, together with China’s hardware production power, can become a huge international success and disrupt an industry.
