Nickelodeon’s new preschool series Abby Hatcher will premiere on 1 January 2019. Produced by Spin Master Entertainment and executive produced by Ronnen Harary and Laura Clunie, the series follows the adventures of a little girl who lives in a world where humans coexist with Fuzzlies, creatures with unique abilities that need Abby’s help to solve problems.
The 26-episode series is the ninth series from the studio behind PAW Patrol. Spin Master recently hired former Guru Studio director Jamie Whitney to run the show. He was previously the original director for PAW Patrol and has also directed several shows for 9 Story, including Max and Ruby.
Following the US launch, Abby Hatcher will start debuting on Nick’s international channels and branded blocks throughout the year. The official Nick Jr. website and the Nick Jr. app will feature new short-form content and an all-new full length episode beginning 17 December 2018. The episode will also be available on Nick Jr. VOD and DTO.
