John Lewis Not Standing Still Over 150 Years

John Lewis, the UK store chain, is celebrating 150 years on the British High Street with a commercial set to the Kinks 1970 hit “This Time Tomorrow”, performed by Gaz Coombes, former lead singer of Supergrass. The commercial is a joyous and celebratory look at life in Britain from past to present, reflecting the fact that John Lewis has been ever present in their customers’ lives, constantly changing and responding to their needs over the past 150 years. “You’ve never stood still. Neither have we. #JL150″. John Lewis is collaborating with longstanding suppliers to create unique and exclusive commemorative products, along with special edition prints from the shop’s archive added to contemporary products.
