Dr. Stone‘s anime adaptation is setting the Summer 2019 anime season abuzz, and given that Senku has gone beyond his first intense face-off with the mighty Tsukasa, fans are speculating over how the rest of the anime’s first season will be panning out. A smattering of new characters will be making their debut.

The remaining cast of characters for the series also show up when the series releases. After Senku parts ways with Taiju and Yuzuriha, he partners up with a few curious individuals on his mission to restarting civilization with science. The first order for the series is listed at 24 episodes. Several thousand years after a mysterious phenomenon that turns all of humanity to stone, the extraordinarily intelligent, science-driven boy, Senku Ishigami, awakens. Facing a world of stone and the total collapse of civilization, Senku makes up his mind to use science to rebuild the world. Starting with his super strong childhood friend Taiju Oki, who awakened at the same time, they will begin to rebuild civilization from nothing… Depicting two million years of scientific history from the Stone Age to present day, the unprecedented crafting adventure story is about to begin!
