Django Django – Reflections
The video, directed by Natalia Stuyk and animated by Eva Papamargeriti, is a surreal take on the traditional performance music video, given a new breath of life in a digital CGI world. The band, transformed into other-worldly kinetic sculptures, perform the track in an evolving 3D gallery setting.
The digital incarnations of the band’s performance were created through experimental use of Motion Capture and Face Shift technologies, which enabled Natalia and Eva to morph each band member and their very human movements, into an abstract sculpture of their own design.
Shot at Framestore London, Reflections represents the most experimental and abstract use of motion capture technology the studio have seen to date.
