Mira, Royal Detective, an animated mystery adventure series for preschoolers is slated to debut on Disney Junior channels around the world in 2020. The production of the series has begun reported Disney Junior and it is aimed for preschoolers.
Set in the magical Indian-inspired land of Jalpur, the series follows a brave Mira, who is a commoner appointed to the role of royal detective after solving a mystery that involves saving the kingdom’s young prince. Mira will be voiced by a 15 year old Leela Ladnier. The voice cast also includes Hannah Simone, Jameela Jamil, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Aparna Nancherla, Kamran Lucas, Karan Brar, Karan Soni, Sarayu Blue, Parvesh Cheena and Sonal Shah, Freida Pinto, Kal Penn, Aasif Mandvi and Sarita Choudhury.
Mira, Royal Detective is executive produced by Sascha Paladino. The series was developed by Becca Topol, who also serves as story editor, and is produced by Wild Canary in association with Disney Junior.
