Cup Noodles Drones launched in Brazil
Posted in: AnimationCup Noodles, the instant ramen noodles snack by Nissin-Ajinomoto, is being promoted in Brazil with the launch of drones with cows, chickens, corn cobs and shrimps. The tagline, “You never know when you’ll get hungry,” is put to the test in a 2:30 commercial by a team sending Cup Noodles Drones to surfers, skateboarders and high liners. Filmed in São Bento do Sapucaí (Pedra do Baú), Ubatuba e São Bernardo do Campo, the online commercial features skateboarders Felipe Foguinho, surfers Marcelo Trekinho, Carlos Bahia and Gabriel Pastori, and skyliner Cadu.
The president and CCO of Dentsu Brasil, Mario D’Andrea, says that the campaign is focused on bringing entertainment and even products to the brand’s young fans. The campaign is focused entirely on online communication. “With an authentic and modern identity, the campaign is part of a true and very simple concept: “Cup Noodles can be consumed not only at home but also in the street, on the beach or while playing sports.”

The Drones campaign was developed at Dentsu Brasil by chief creative officer Mario D’Andrea, creative director/art director Philip Cuvero, head of design Christian Faria, art director Marcelo Camargo, copywriter Marcus Meireles, agency producers Junior Diocletian, Murillo and Moretti Bianca Aguiar, account team Juliana Seabra, Renato Girard and Fernanda Fontes, planner Newton Nagumo, working with Nissin marketing team Toshiro Tsuboi, Alessandra Elias, Samanta Yokota, Patricia Rusilo, Juliane Aguiar. Filming was produced at Volcano Hotmind, Sao Paulo, by executive producer Enzo Barone, director of photography Leandro Filloy, art director Paulo Ribeiro, producer Malaika Cipriano, production coordinator Ricardo Ferrer, post production coordinator Paula Oliveira, 3D artist Daniel Moreira, VFX compositor Raoni Santos and editor Daniel Fiori, Colour grading was done at Psycho n’Look.
Sound and music were produced at Lua Nova (New Moon) by creative and music producer Fred Benuce and account manager Larissa Storch. Music is “Cavagalda the Valkyries of the XXI century”, a mix of classical music with punk rock.
