Breast Cancer Foundation Logos Against Cancer

Breast Cancer Foundation Singapore is running an advertising campaign using social media branding to raise awareness of the need for self examination. Print and online ads use tweaked Facebook, Twitter and Instagram logos to resemble the shape of a hand touching a breast. The tagline at the bottom reads: “If only you checked your breasts as often” with supporting body copy urging women to do a self-examination regularly and relevant information on the same. BCF is using the bit.ly/LogosAgainstCancer link to Causes site to appeal to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to change their logos to the redesigned “breast-check” versions in October.

“Not checking status updates won’t hurt you. But breast cancer can, and might even kill you. In the time you spend online, you can easily do a breast examination instead. Learn how to perform one at bcf.org.au.
