Apple has launched the new iPhone 6 range during a keynote presentation broadcast globally, along with iOS8 and Apple Pay. The new iPhone 6 is 4.7 inches and 6.9 mm, with 1334×750 resolution. The iPhone 6 Plus is 5.5 inches and 7.1 mm with 1920×1080 resolution. Built on 64-bit desktop-class architecture, the new A8 chip delivers more power, even while driving a larger display. The M8 motion coprocessor efficiently gathers data from advanced sensors and a new barometer. the iSight camera has a new sensor with Focus Pixels and new video features, like 1080p HD at 60 fps, slo-mo at 240 fps, and time-lapse video mode. Apple Pay combines the convenience and security of Touch ID and Passbook with NFC technology. So you can use iPhone 6 to pay in stores and within apps with a single touch.

Jony Ive introduces the new iPhone 6 in a 6:24 minute demo film, but for the first time he doesn’t appear in person.

“Seamless”, a one minute promotional film, provides a swivel introduction to the external appearance of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

“Duo”, a 30 second commercial, channels the opening theme music for Space Odyssey 2001, Richard Strauss track “Also sprach Zarathustra”.

“Health”, another 30 second commercial, promotes the “Health” app while highlighting the two phone sizes.
