Need help.Lightning a room

Hello ,

I have to make a light that comes from us towards the boy. I tried by making 3 layers with fractal noise, high contrast and Shine but it looks like the light is coming to us . Also it looks a little bit fake and poor . Can you help me with some better decision 🙁
