Walt Disney to check temperatures of visitors at its theme parks, once they reopen

Walt Disney has decided to have its theme park visitors’ temperatures checked after they reopen after Covid-19 restrictions on public gatherings are withdrawn. Disney executive chairman Bob Iger informed this in an interview published yesterday, 7 April.

The House of Mouse is seriously considering the idea to ensure the public feels safe about returning to Disney’s theme parks once lockdowns are lifted.

“We’re discussing that in order to return to some semblance of normal, people will have to feel comfortable that they’re safe. Some of that could come in the form ultimately of a vaccine, but in the absence of that…everybody who visits our parks, just as we now do bag checks for everybody that goes into our parks, at some point we might add a component to take people’s temperatures,” Iger added in that interview.

Disney operates Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California as well as theme parks in China, Hong Kong, Japan and France. All of these parks are currently shut to contain the spread of the Coronavirus. The company is yet to announce when they will reopen.

According to the Themed Entertainment Association, Walt Disney World is the most-visited theme park in the world, attracting 58.4 million visitors in 2018.

How to use a coffee maker?

Coffee is one of the world’s most widely used drink with more than 400 billion cups consumed annually. This is enjoyed as part of a safe, balanced diet and coffee drinking is pleasurable experience plays a key role in many cultures around the world, offering an opportunity to interact with friends, family, and colleagues.

Different types of coffee are brewed from different uses of coffee beans and coffee-makers , which tend to have flavor characteristics that have been affected by geography and topography. There are many choices of coffee beans, ranging from dark Colombian roast to light Italian roast. The type of coffee bean used determines the type of coffee that is being brewed. Most people enjoy coffee with cream and sugar, but there are always some brave people out there who enjoy coffee as it is: plain black.

Any coffee lover would agree that the method you use to brew your beans makes all the difference in aroma, texture, freshness and taste that you end up in your cup. The coffee brewing process you use can even assess the nutritional benefits and the amount of antioxidants in your coffee, and can even contribute to minimise your exposure to the harmful chemicals that occur with such coffee brewing techniques. However, one of the easiest ways of brewing a wonderful cup of coffee is by using a coffee maker.

There are not many people on earth who don’t use coffee machines. Every single person has a coffee machine that loves coffee. Coffee beverages are a regular routine for the citizens of every modern town. Just millions of people drink coffee every day in the United States. Hence, every coffee lover wants their perfect coffee. And everyone needs to use their coffee machine.

Types of coffee machines

  1. Drip Coffee Makers (Electric)
Also known as drip coffee makers or drip coffee pots, drip coffee brewers heat water and distribute it evenly and gradually through ground coffee beans. Installation couldn’t be any simpler in most situations. All you need to do is fill your coffee maker with water, filter and coffee beans, push a button and you’re good to go.
  2. Thermal Coffee Makers (Electric)
Work like drip coffee brewers, however with the unique benefits of brewing your coffee in an insulated thermal carafe. This keeps your coffee hot for hours without continuing to cook; your coffee as it rests on a heated surface, which can ultimately lead to a thick, bitter brew.
  3. Espresso Machines (Electric)
An espresso machine brews coffee by pushing pressurised water near its boiling point through a
puck; of ground coffee and a filter to produce a thick, concentrated coffee called espresso. While home espresso machines can cost a little more than other types of household brewers and can tend to be more tricky and labor-intensive, it might be worth it to the hard- boiled espresso lover if you get your technique right and succeed in obtaining rich, delicious brews like your favorite coffee shop.
  4. Percolators (Electric)
The coffee percolator is a type of pot used to brew coffee by continuously rolling the boiling or almost boiling brew through the grounds using gravity until the required strength is reached.
  5. Siphon Coffee Makers (Electric)
Also classified as vacuum pot coffee makers, they may not be very practical for daily use due to their many fragile parts and the extraordinary amount of time and labor involved in brewing each pot. A lot of siphon pot users swear by the exceptionally great- coffee they make.
  6. French Press Coffee Makers (Manual)
A French press coffee maker is used to make a steep brew of coffee. What makes the French press special is the method in which the grounds remain in contact with the water throughout the entire brewing cycle. It uses a metal mesh filter. This helps all the flavor oils of the coffee to make it into your cup, as opposed to being stuck in a paper filter during the brewing process.
  7. AeroPress (Manual)
An AeroPress looks like a giant syringe and helps the user to make exceptionally smooth espresso-like coffee without an expensive and cumbersome machine. The AeroPress is easy to use, easy to clean and compact enough to take with you on your journey.
  8. Cold Brew Coffee Makers (Manual)
Cold Brew Coffee Maker introduces the cold-brew process to your kitchen, offering smooth, low-acid coffee without a coffee drive. Only add the coffee grounds to the brewing jar and fill the top of the coffee maker top with water.  The cold brew coffee maker ensures that the water is uniformly dispersed over the coffee beans. Also called "cold water extract," cold brewed coffee can be diluted and poured over ice or heated like standard coffee.
  9. Vietnamese Coffee Makers (Manual)
If you want a sweet and cold coffee over ice, this might be a coffee brewer for you. Vietnamese coffee usually requires the addition of condensed milk or cream and sugar to create a great cup of thick, sweet iced coffee.
  10. Moka Pot Coffee Makers (stovetop)
It’s an easy and cost-effective alternative to a full-blown home espresso machine. It produces a thick, rich and tasty brew that goes well with creamers, flavored syrups or frothy steamed milk. The Moka pot is also a popular brewing tool for campers who enjoy brewing on a camping stove or over a fire.

Steps to use a coffee maker

  • Add a coffee filter in the filter basket. Many coffee makers come with a mesh filter of their own. It is typically the easiest and most environmentally friendly option. Use the patented filter of the coffee maker instead of the paper one.
  • Measure the coffee. The stronger coffee you want, the more coffee you are going to have to put in the tank. Depending on your coffee machine and the type of coffee you produce, the ratio of coffee to water can vary.
  • Add enough water to make your coffee. You may use the measuring lines on the coffee pot or on the side of the coffee maker to measure.
  • Plug in the coffee maker and switch it on. Some coffee makers start brewing coffee automatically, while others have a manual setup.
  • Allow the coffee to fully get brewed before pouring it into your coffee mug. Some coffee makers have a pause setting that lets you pause the brewing process and fill a cup until it’s done.

Warner Music Group’s Arts Music division inks a deal with Fred Rogers Productions for ‘Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood’

Warner Music Group’s Arts Music division has partnered with Fred Rogers Productions for its successful animated children’s TV series, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood

The Emmy-winning show is based on the fictional Neighborhood of Make-Believe from the iconic Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, and features popular characters from the original programme. New music from the show will soon be released under the deal while existing songs will be made available immediately across a broader set of digital services both in the United States and around the world.

Commenting on this collaboration, Arts Music president Kevin Gore said, “I grew up watching Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood and always admired the values of kindness, respect, learning, friendship, fun, and imagination that Fred Rogers conveyed to children in such a personal way. I’m thrilled to be able to be a part of continuing his legacy through our partnership with Fred Rogers Productions for Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, a show that perfectly blends the nostalgic with the modern while emphasising those timeless values. In the same way that Fred’s music helped amplify these positive messages in his original show, the songs from Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood will delight, comfort and inspire children and families for many years to come.”

Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood follows the daily adventures of four year-old Daniel Tiger (son of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood’s Daniel Striped Tiger), and his friends, Katerina Kittycat (daughter of Henrietta Pussycat), Miss Elaina (daughter of Lady Elaine Fairchilde and Music Man Stan), O the Owl (nephew of X the Owl), and Prince Wednesday (King Friday and Queen Sara Saturday’s youngest son). Through each adventure, children are taught valuable lessons and practical skills such as managing sibling rivalry, missing loved ones, tidying up, and coping with accidents, with the help of strategy songs like, “Clean Up, Pick Up, Put Away” and “Use Your Words and Say How You Feel.”

“Music has always been a key part of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood. It’s what helps make the parenting strategies featured in each episode of the series so effective and useful for preschoolers and families in their everyday lives. We are excited about teaming up with Warner Music Group’s Arts Music division to help make these songs and prosocial lessons from the show accessible to even more young fans and their families in neighborhoods all across the globe,” added Fred Rogers Productions president and CEO Paul Siefken.

Created by Blue’s Clues co-producer Angela C. Santomero in 2012,  Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood is produced by Fred Rogers Productions and 9 Story Media Group. The show will return for its fifth season this summer on PBS KIDS.

Sony unveils DualSense wireless game controller for PlayStation 5

Sony has unveiled the controller for PlayStation 5: the DualSense, which marks the biggest departure for Sony’s controller design in its over 25-year history of PlayStation consoles.

SIE president and CEO Jim Ryan, to the community, shared in an official blog that  “DualSense marks a radical departure from our previous controller offerings and captures just how strongly we feel about making a generational leap with PS5. The new controller, along with the many innovative features in PS5, will be transformative for games – continuing our mission at PlayStation to push the boundaries of play, now and in the future. To the PlayStation community, I truly want to thank you for sharing this exciting journey with us as we head toward PS5’s launch in Holiday 2020. We look forward to sharing more information about PS5, including the console design, in the coming months.”

The new controller has some big changes on the inside too: the previously announced haptic feedback (replacing the old rumble technology in previous controllers) and the new “adaptive triggers” that can adjust the resistance of the triggers for different gameplay effects. There’s also an integrated microphone, a first for Sony’s controllers, along with a (long-overdue) USB-C port. And of course, there’s the new two-tone color scheme (similar in style to the PSVR) and an overhauled design that gives a more rounded shape to the grips and face buttons.

From the front, the controller truly looks nothing like the PS4 or even the PS3 controller. However, when closely observed, few things here and there have been included for easing the migration of players from PS4 to the PS5 including the symmetrical layout of thumbsticks, the clicky touchpad  and so on.  Sony has put two LED light lines on the front, next to the trackpad which will help for better gaming experience and aesthetically looks more appealing. The grips on the PS4 have been changed a bit too and it comes with a built-in mic. Also it has USB-C port for charging and syncing the controller with the console
