On the heels of 2015’s Furious 7, one of the fastest movies to reach $1 billion worldwide in box-office history and the sixth-biggest global title of all time, comes the newest chapter in one of the most popular and enduring motion-picture serials of all time: The Fate of the Furious.

Now that Dom and Letty are on their honeymoon and Brian and Mia have retired from the game—and the rest of the crew has been exonerated—the globetrotting team has found a semblance of a normal life. But when a mysterious woman (Oscar® winner Charlize Theron) seduces Dom into the world of crime he can’t seem to escape and a betrayal of those closest to him, they will face trials that will test them as never before.

From the shores of Cuba and the streets of New York City to the icy plains off the arctic Barents Sea, our elite force will crisscross the globe to stop an anarchist from unleashing chaos on the world’s stage…and to bring home the man who made them a family.

For The Fate of the Furious, Vin Diesel is joined by a returning all-star cast that includes Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Elsa Pataky and Kurt Russell. In addition to Theron, the series welcomes newcomers Scott Eastwood and Oscar® winner Helen Mirren. The film is directed by F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton) and produced by returning producers Neal H. Moritz, Michael Fottrell and Diesel.

2016 has been a great year for gaming. Although, there were a lot of terrific releases in the past year, some games like Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Blizzard’s Overwatch, Playdead’s Inside and Niantic’s Pokemon Go have bagged accolades across various awards.

Now, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has announced the nominees for the  2017 British Academy Games Awards.

Three games managed to outshine others in the nominations at least. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has picked up eight nominations, while Inside got seven and Firewatch received six. All the three games owe one nomination each to the Best Game award category. Other games that will be joining these three in the run for the top accolade are Overwatch, Titanfall 2 and Stardew Valley.

According to BAFTA’s criteria, for a game to be eligible for nomination, it has to be released in the UK in 2016 calendar year.

The event also has a special category for the best British Game. The nominees for this category include the controversial title No Man’s Sky, Forza Horizon 3, Batman: Arkham VR and some others.

The winners will be announced during the event on 6 April, at Tobacco Dock in London. The event will be streamed live on Twitch.

Martin Short won the Canadian Screen Award (CSA) for ‘Best Performance in an Animated Program or Series’ for The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About Camping!. The win was announced last night on the second night of the CSA Gala.

Martin Short has been entertaining millions of children worldwide in The Cat in The Hat Knows a Lot About That! for multiple seasons, as well as four additional movies. A new season of the series is currently in production in-house at Portfolio’s animation studio.

“Martin’s incredible energy and personality have brought the beloved Cat in the Hat to life for a new generation of fans,” said Portfolio Entertainment, CEO and co-founder, Lisa Olfman “We’re excited to see him recognised for his work and honoured to continue our journey with him.”

The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That! is produced in association with Random House Children’s Books and Dr. Seuss Enterprises.

Synopsis

The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About Camping! –  For the first time, the Little Cats join The Cat in the Hat, Fish, Nick and Sally on a fun and frenzied outdoor adventure as they camp, hike and paddle their way to Fish’s family reunion.
