Hyundai Preroll Skip Ad

Hyundai is promoting the Elantra’s auto emergency braking system with a preroll Youtube film with a difference. The Hyundai Preroll Skip Ad’s concept evolved out of peoples’ annoyance at pre-roll ads, and their tendency to skip them as soon as they pop up. Inn ocean made the “skip” button a distraction for the driver in their ad too. In “Hyundai Preroll Skip Ad” a persistent driver tries to rid the screen of YouTube’s distracting “skip ad” button. He almost hits a mother and daughter crossing the street, but with the help of Elantra’s auto emergency breaking, his car stops just in time.

Bad Taste Trailer – Peter Jackson – Wingnut Films – 1987

Bad Taste Trailer – Peter Jackson – Wingnut Films – 1987

Bad Taste (1987)

Bad Taste is a 1987 splatter horror comedy film directed, written, produced, photographed, co-edited by and co-starring Peter Jackson, who also made most of the makeup and special effects. Produced on a low budget, it is Jackson’s first feature film. Jackson and friends take on most of the key roles, both on and off-screen. The plotline sees aliens invade the fictional New Zealand village of Kaihoro to harvest humans for their intergalactic fast food franchise, where they face off against a four-man paramilitary force, of which at least one member appears to have gone insane. It was a film that provided Jackson with the necessary leverage needed to advance in the industry. (From Wikipedia)

Boing Process Reel

We’d like to pull back the curtain and show you a bit of what went on behind the scenes of our refresh for Turner Broadcast System’s Boing. From pencil sketch to final animation, it was a long process. You’ll see the evolution of the characters as well as some ideas that didn’t make it into the final project. BOING REFRESH 2016 – REEL

Better together. Peanut butter and jelly, milk and cookies, weekends and sunshine: lots of great things become even better when you put them together. Boing and LUMBRE came together and this is the result. Boing is part of Turner Broadcasting’s cartoon empire and sister channel to Cartoon Network and Boomerang. It currently airs in Italy, France, Spain and South Africa. Working closely with the Boing team, we based the new campaign based on the idea of “Better Together.” When the Boing logo enters the scene, it mixes the characters and props together to create a new situation that is much more fun and interesting. By sharing, the Animadz™ reach a new level of excitement that is greater that the sum of their parts. We modernized and redesigned the Animadz™, created a launch campaign to introduce viewers to the new character designs, built a full on-air identity, planed an odd-air identity, orchestrated original music and an audio logo, wrote a new channel tag line, and updated the logo.
