Diesel Footwear Photobombing Animals

Diesel Footwear Espana is promoting the Spring/Summer collection with a print advertising campaign featuring photobombing animals. The brand is associated with a casual, maverick approach to advertising with an unexpected playful twists. Madrid agency Imaginarte used photobombing to alter the normal state of affairs. Photographs of a romantic picnic in the park and a formal opening ceremony on the beach are transformed by the sight of ponies and puppies sharing their own intimate moments in the background. The tag line: #fuckexpectations. The campaign is online at dieselfootwear.es and facebook.com/dieselfootwear.

BMW i3 Newfangled Idea

BMW Super Bowl advertising in 2015 featured a reunion of Today Show presenters Katie Couric and Bryant Gumbel in “New Fangled”. In a clip from their show in 1994 they set out to work out what the new internet is all about. In 2015 they’re driving the new BMW i3, an electric car that was built in a wind-powered factory. The ad connects viewers to the BMW i3 microsite, bmwusa.com/hellofootball. The campaign includes a behind-the-scenes video and an out takes film. “In 1994, no one knew how big the internet would be. Not even broadcast journalists Bryant Gumbel and Katie Couric. 21 years later, a new big idea has them scratching their heads again. #HelloFuture”

AR Calendar Intro Animation

We’re making a AR Calendar – letterpressing some fancy designs into 12 cards and turning each one into a custom augmented reality experience… you know what we don’t have? An animated short. So we made an animation short. Hopefully this helps those people not familiar with how AR works point their phone in the right direction. Please enjoy. If you haven’t checked out the full case study, or downloaded the calendar and app yourself- have a go with them here. And don’t get us wrong, we love Cincinnati.

Augmented Reality Calendar

Bored with those traditional 2015 Calendars that just sit there on your desk, staring you in the face like you forgot some aunt’s birthday and it’s your fault she moved to Cincinnati? We are too. So we made the 2015 AR Calendar. Every calendar month is designed and built by the fine folks here at We Are Royale. Each month has an augmented reality experience you can access with the app that extends the card with interactive bonuses. It won’t bring your aunt back from Cincinnati – but it will entertain you more than those calendars with those inspirational quotes on them. Visit www.weareroyale.com/arcalendar to download and view the 2015 calendar.
