!!RENEGADE!!

ACTION, ADVENTURE, ROMANCE all here for you in 3 minutes! Join Renegade as he Battles the Evil Dr. Monocle to save his Love Gwenyvier. Renegade is an homage to the 1940’s American pulp magazines, like Thrilling Wonder Stories, Terror Tales and Thrilling Mysterys. These magazines featured cover art by artist like Rudolph Belarski, Tom Blame and Earle Bergey who often drew thinly clothed heros and heroines fighting off mad scientist, druids, henchmen and goblins. Renegade is Pulp comic fun, with classic arch characters, romance and adventure.

MAXON Announces Participation at Adobe MAX

Mon 6th Oct 2014 | News

MAXON, leading developer of professional 3D modeling, painting, animation and rendering software solutions, is pleased to participate and sponsor Adobe MAX, taking place October 6 -7, 2014, in Los Angeles. The annual event, billed as “The Creativity Conference,” is held by Adobe Systems to explore the “intersection of creativity and technology” bringing together sessions, speakers and workshops centered around the latest Adobe releases to help users build “…great creative experiences.”

In 2013, MAXON entered into a strategic alliance with Adobe Systems aimed at delivering 3D technologies directly within Adobe® After Effects® CC. This resulted in CINEWARE, a ‘live’ 3D pipeline between Cinema 4D and After Effects that benefits creative professionals with a streamlined workflow to open, edit and enhance Cinema 4D project files inside After Effects, and Cinema 4D Lite, a limited, yet feature-rich, version of the software that launches directly from the application. With the release last month of MAXON Cinema 4D R16 — the latest version of the company’s powerful 3D application — upgrades to CINEWARE and Cinema 4D Lite are now available in the latest version of After Effects CC for improved integration and performance.

During Adobe MAX, Rick Barrett, VP Operations at MAXON US, and Chris Meyer, a principal at Crish Design, renowned After Effects and Cinema 4D expert, motion graphic designer and author of After Effects books, will lead sessions that focus on leveraging Cinema 4D and After Effects to maximize workflow and creative productivity.

Session with Chris Meyer

After Effects and Cinema 4D: Creating Flying 3D Logos

Date/Time: Monday, Oct 6, 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM

Meyer will show attendees, including those who may never have worked before in a 3D program, how to use After Effects CC and the bundled Cinema 4D Lite to take a client’s 2D Illustrator logo, extrude it into 3D, light it, and animate it for video.

Products: After Effects, Illustrator

Session with Rick Barrett

After Effects and Cinema 4D for Designers: Adding Dimension to Your Design

Date/Time: Wednesday, October 8 – 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

Barrett has been helping designers discover and take advantage of Cinema 4D for over 15 years. Rick also developed the PlaneSmart and ArtSmart plugins for Cinema 4D, which greatly enhance the workflow with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. This session aimed at graphic designers, motion graphics/visual effects artists, post-production professionals and Web designers will demonstrate valuable tools and techniques to incorporate 3D into their design workflow.

Products: After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop

Visit MAXON at the Adobe MAX Community Pavilion

As an Adobe partner, MAXON also invites conference attendees to stop by its table top exhibit at the Adobe MAX Community Pavilion to get the latest information about and see demonstrations of Cinema 4D Release 16 (R16) that offers countless new features and workflow enhancements. (Read R16 press release here.)

Adobe MAX will be taking place in Los Angeles at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Additional conference details are available here.

The Flower Effect

The Flower Effect is an online film showing the effect that flowers can have on people, made by Amsterdam creative agency Kingsday for the Flower Council of Holland. The film is directed by young Dutch talent Basha de Bruijn and evokes an archaic and romantic style of cinema. The film shows that walking around with a bunch of flowers provokes reactions from strangers, and effects people’s emotions. Only the two main characters, Sophie en Paul are acting, everyone else in the film are real people – so their reactions are genuine. The campaign, focused on Western European markets, is online at funnyhowflowersdothat.co.uk, Lajoiedesfleurs.fr and Tollwasblumenmachen.de
