Frame pumps life into Mobil1 motor oil & Porsche. In this spectacular film a mean and aggressive machine bull is conceived and brought into being by the blood of Porsche, the Mobil1 motor oil. The concept of this co-branded piece is to show how Mobil 1 motor oil is the most hi-tech and durable oil available for Porsche’s high performance cars. Frame helped the agency launch the Mobil1 campaign by utilizing a mix of live-action, animation and VFX as Frame collaborated with the talented people at Ghost VFX, who contributed with look development, character animation and subsequently composited their renders. Frame acted as a creative partner with the agency to create the initial concepts and execution of the insanely detailed animations. The dystopian commercial was directed, designed and animated by Frame Copenhagen, led by Creative Director/Director Anders Schroder.
Explore the narrative, stylistic, and thematic connections between Michelangelo Antonioni’s BLOW-UP, Francis Ford Coppola’s THE CONVERSATION, and Brian De Palma’s BLOW OUT with this video essay entitled “Cross-Cut.” Note: This video essay originally began as a more theoretical project. The other drafts have been posted to Vimeo for the sake of pedagogy.
North Face Korea is promoting the “Never Stop Exploring” message with a stunt filmed in a pop-up store in Seoul. Customers shopping for ski jackets suddenly found the displays ascending into the ceiling, and the floor disappearing below them, exposing a safety landing pad. Around them the walls were lined with rock-climbing holds. A North Face jacket was lowered from the ceiling with the message, “Time limit of 30 seconds. Go GET the North Face down jacket”. North Face Korea is challenging customers to discover their own strength as they face unexpected challenges.
The North Face Shop Disappearing Floor campaign was developed at Innored, Seoul.
Music is “Don’t Want To Fall” by EleventySeven.
Innored’s North Face Shop campaign follows on from the success of the Chilsung Cider magical wish vending machine in which shopping mall visitors were lured into a room fitted with suspended bottles and a giant trampoline floor. They were invited to jump for bottles and sign up for a magical wish.
Shilo’s 2014 reel shows a wide breadth of work spanning the last several years.
Astronauts are allowed to bring special “crew preference” items when they go up in space. NASA astronaut Don Pettit chose candy corn for his five and a half month stint aboard the International Space Station. But these candy corn were more than a snack, Pettit used them for experimentation.
