Need help.Lightning a scene

Hi there ,

I have this shot http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/4219/svetlina2.jpg and my task is to make a light that comes from us towards the boy.So , I made 3 different layers with fractal noise, high contrast and Trapcode plug-in Shine. It’s looks like the light is coming from the boy to us . Can somebody suggest something better ? :confused:

RunTimeError OFX plugin

Hello OFX/Nuke developers,

I have tried to run some of the OFX plugin examples from the official OFX repository and I dont get them to work with Nuke. In particular, I tried to run basic.cpp and invert.cpp.
For both I get the following error:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<string>", line 1, in <module>
RuntimeError: C:/Users/Me/.nuke/invert.dll: plugin did not define invert

I have put all the header files in place,run the invert.cpp with Visual C++, built the project(no errors!), placed the .dll in the appropriate .nuke and C://ProgramFiles/CommonFiles/OFX/Nuke/ folders.
Also, one thing to mention is that I haven’t modified the code at all..

What would you advise me to do? It’s probably something very silly, but it’s my first attempt to build Nuke plugins so I would really appreciate any help.

boujou help ?

I’m using boujou to track.

Let’s say I have a scene with a room and a desk in it.
I orient my ground plane to the desk. But what If i want to add and an object that walks on the wall and on the table? Do i need 2 ground planes on the wall and on the desk ?? How to do this ?
Im exporting this to maya.

I think this thread should be here and not in Reels, so I’m sorry for the last post.

A short motion graphics animation made by me.

What I focused on in this clip was the light settings and the sound.
Over 30 sound sources were used.

Please give me some feedback.

Has anybody taken the nuke class at studio arts in los angeles? Or has anybody had any experience with the school for that matter? Thanks,

Upcoming position for experienced COMPOSITORS. Join our crew for the upcoming SyFy Television movie that will continue the lineage of the Battlestar Galactica series with the adventures of Lt. William Adama during the first Cylon War.

Candidate will be using Combustion or After Effects. We may also consider experienced Fusion compositors. Must be Los Angeles local and be able to hit the ground running. We are looking for talented people who enjoy a collaborative, creative and fast-paced environment.

Essential to have experience in keying, color correction, roto and paint fixes, and integration of CG elements into live action plates. Knowledge of tracking software like SynthEyes is extremely helpful.

This is a temporary position and will run thru the late April thru mid-September.

We are an Emmy award winning visual effects team based at Universal Studios near Burbank. All compositors must work from our PC workstations here at the studio.
