Channel ID for major TV station, integrated live footage with CGI. You are preferably a C4D Generalist who also have a eye for design and layout. Since the deadline is so tight there is not much room for free time during holidays, you will discuss this in detail with the client

im a new member here. it is nice to meet you on this forum. I wonder, how long does it take to transform from flame into nuke? to get know and fully understand, because used to be i am a flame and smoke artist, until now.
i saw the demo videos on the foundry’s site–everything is about channel management in nuke. Correct me if i am wrong—and hope this forum will helps me a lot.

Key Purpose of the Job
To seamlessly integrate all the layers or elements of a shot, including live-action and computer graphic elements. Compositors work closely with Visual Effects Supervisors and 2D Supervisors to composite the numerous elements that complete a visual effects shot.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Integrate cg elements, live action, miniatures or matte paintings into live action plates. Match color, lighting and exposure of stock elements to rendered or photographed elements
* Matte extractions from blue/green screen photography
* Present work clearly in dailies and walkthroughs and respond to supervisor in a timely fashion
* Transform and warp elements as needed
* 2D/3D camera tracking and stabilization
* Grain and degrain as necessary
* Plate speed up/slow down manipulation
* Matte edge processing and integration
* QC black levels, grain, color, mattes
* Paint fixes and rotoscoping
* Take part in client reviews
* Follow production methodologies and develop creative approaches and problem-solving
* Performing all aspects of composite fx design
Needs to have:
* A great eye and aesthetic judgement and exercises close attention to detail
* A thorough understanding of CG and 2D principles and can knowledgably discuss and advise approaches with the team.
* More than 2 years of node based compositing software experience (Nuke or Fusion)
* Experience with Keylight, Primatte or Ultimatte
* Knowledge of projection mapping
* 2d and 3d track. (at least 2d)
* Motion Graphics.
* Maya knowledge a plus
* Sound aesthetic with good understanding of color, contrast , lighting design photography
* Knowledge of film and video resolution, aspect ratios and formats.
* Strong problem solving skills
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Team player with great attitude
* Dependable and flexible
* Takes direction well
