Urgent Help………

Please can anybody help in Nuke’s 3D space 🙁
I am stuck in a small issue which I wanted to know how can I import camera data from maya to nuke. I can import the data easily but the issue is that my image’s attributes are getting disturbed in it and the footage is getting offset from the camera position, even the same footage is being tracked in pftrack and brought its camera into maya and did few more frames of animation from the last frame but its not getting me matched the last frames in nuke through the camera data from maya to nuke.

hope u all understand the problem.Looking for solution … Thanks in advance.

Matching Compression

Something I was just thinking about:
How would people here go about matching that blocky look from a heavily compressed camera, like a GoPro?

I had to do some rig removal on some recently, and was lucky enough to be able to pull my elements from other parts of the frame and not need to match the artefacts.

How would YOU match compression artefacts if you had to?

Cheers,
Charles

Shorts for Burn

Agency Publicis Mojo and Exit Films have released a set of short films for Coca Cola’s Burn Energy drink.

Feature I wish Nuke had…

I really wish there was some way to save Cameras into a channel and use them downstream, just like other layers/channels.

I always either have to 1) pipe them back into a ton of nodes downstream, which results in a mess of lines everywhere or 2)create a bunch of duplicate cameras everywhere

robbinschilds + Corn Nuts = PS. 1 this Sunday

Robbinschild - I came here on my own.robbinschilds create funny and layered performances using video and synchronized movement.

Also, they amplify themselves chewing corn nuts looped through fx pedals!  Catch their “nut jam” this Sunday, July 25th at PS. 1 as part of the Greater New York show.  It all goes down from 3-5pm in the robbinschilds gallery, installed on the 3rd floor of the museum.

Getting Cam local z rotation around look-at/axis?

Hey All…

I was lucky enough to have been given an animated camera that has a ‘look-at’ point and an ‘up’. I am going to fake some particles that hover and move past the front of the camera, but I don’t want to try and emit and parent them to this moving camera. I am hoping, instead, that I can calculate the camera’s rotation around the axis that would be defined by the look-at point and the camera axis, and then pipe that over to a static camera’s rotateZ, resulting in a camera that I can use to render my particles (they just emit and move past this static camera)

Is this possible? If I just knew some more vector math and such, I think I could figure it out, but perhaps someone here can help me along the path?

Thanks!
Ryan
