ZOMBIE SKATER PUNK WHIP-IT ILLUSTRATIONS.

FRENDEN’s explosively colorful illustrations came to us late last night via the whispernetz and forced us to immediately watch a stack of powell peralta videos, do an acid drop, and call in our medicinal marijuana prescription. If these prints came in blacklightable velvet we’d quit everything, make our bedrooms into a shrine to teenagedom, and dole out bags of whipits and JD cards to all our friends as communion.

RE:PLAY Film Festival: Last Batch

Rounding out the F5 RE:PLAY FIlm Festival are three treats from Nanospore, La Flama and a co-directed short from Ryan Rothermel and Sean Pecknold. Diverse, mysterious and quirky, these films offer a fitting end to a fantastic run of work from an incredibly talented pool of filmmakers. Each of them embodied the spirit of F5, striving for creativity and community in their purest forms.

The entire F5 team sends a deep, hearty thank you to everyone involved in the RE:PLAY Film Festival, including the festival’s producer, Connor Swegle. To review all the RE:PLAY films, check them out on the RE:PLAY Vimeo channel.

Francesco Tortorella, dello studio 101% ci segnala il nuovissimo video di Fabri Fibra, Do you speak english? Lo studio 101% si è occupato della realizzazione delle animazioni e del compositing.

Da citare sicuramente tra i buoni esempi italiani, il videoclip risente sicuramente di influenze internazionali ed è il risultato di un bel lavoro di lettering e un attento utilizzo del tracking.

DIE VERBOTEN MAKES WHITE HOT IBIZA MIND SAND.

Picture 7A collaboration between Soulwax, Fergadelic, and Riton has yielded the audio/visual/galactic space project that is: DIE VERBOTEN, a krautrock influenced musical experience that comes with some pretty complex record sleeve origami created by Fergadelic. A DVD will be released at a later date but for now you can order up some heavy vinyl, wear your kaftan, and head to the white hot Ibiza sand of your mind.
