Building Projection Round-Up

Over the last year or so, we’ve seen a lot projects involving the projection of video onto architectural structures. The most interesting of these are films that actually take the contours of the building into account, creating perceptual tricks of scale and encouraging viewers to think of the buildings as malleable structures.

To get the full effect, it helps to think about the experience of being a visitor to one of these structures—rather than simply viewing them as web video. Go full-screen, if you can.

Nuke submission to Royal Render

Anyone out there using Nuke with Royal? I’m curious as to how you have it setup. Custom submission script? Submitter_Batch.exe?

I’m trying to figure out why it’s only letting me submit from submitter_batch.exe locally to my own machine. And I guess also figure out the best way to submit to our farm in general.

I’m relatively new to Nuke so any advice would probably be helpful.

Cheers

Tron Legacy: Production shots

Tron 2.0 … For me, this is probably the most anticipated movie I’ve ever waited (and waited and waited) to see (directed by Joseph Kosinski). Some screen shots of production and one of the movie’s title design. (via Motionographer).

Shake Over Node Problem

Hey guys 🙂
Iam pretty new to shake and I also ran into my first couple of problems 😀
I have no idea why, but when I connect 2 images via an over node, it doesnt actually put the foreground image over the background image. It rather shines through like a screen node

After all, we are in an innovative sector with a bright future. We support companies with their product development and marketing by means of technology and services centred around 3D high-end visualisation and virtual reality. In short, we make products shine brightly, be it for design or marketing purposes or both.

THE FANTASTIC MR. FOX.

fantastic-mr-fox-2

The promise of Wes Anderson’s new film, The Fantastic Mr. Fox, seems a little hard to deliver on BUT……it’s like, c’mon!!!!! Roald Dahl, George Clooney, Jarvis Cocker, Bill Murray, Willem Dafoe, and Owen Wilson all signed on so why can’t you? Like, you don’t always have to be so stuffy. Maybe a stop motion film that looks like a furry fetish video is just the thing that you need to take you to tier two. Check out more at COOL HUNTING.
