importing splines in the warper node

hello, when I was using the warper node in shake sometimes I created my source and destination shapes in silhouette, exported them for shake, and then I could import them in my warper node. I am now trying to do the same in the splinewarper node in nuke, but I can only create splines inside this node, I can’t seem to import external shapes in it (even shapes already imported in nuke), is there a way to do so? thanks
