how to do custom autosave ?

Hi, i’ve been setting up my Nuke so it can save sequential autosave files into my custom autosave folder. The problem now if i got crash or close nuke without saving it first, Later when re-open the file, it won’t ask me option for ‘restoring autosave file’ anymore. I think there has to be an autosave file in the same folder as current project which has the same name (plus with additional extension .autosave)

Allright i can move my custom autosave file into the same folder as current script/project, but again coz i’m using additional incremental number inside the autosave filename, so Nuke won’t recognize this as the same file. So again it fails to ask me for the ‘restore autosave file’.

My question: is there any mechanism to deal with this problem? Maybe like triggering some other scripts when autosave is in action…. so this script, let say.. can duplicate the last autosave , modify the name (remove the incremental number) then put it in the same folder ? maybe … ??

Possible ???

thanx
