Ugh, Uv’s. Can I do this?


I screwed up. I modeled a character, well, multiple for a short film and rigged the one character already. He’s bound and ready to walk and strut his stuff. Well I unwrapped him, I thought, I mean.. I remember unwrapping him. So when I go to export out the head UV’s to paint, it was no longer unwrapped.

So, my question is, since I use another app for my unwrapping, (blender cuz its super fast and efficient compared to maya), is there a way I can reimport an unwrapped head and transfer those UV’s to the binded head that isn’t unwrapped? And if so, how?
