NEW BLOG POST: Autodesk Smoke: The Avid AAF Conforming Workflow

Hi Everyone

I hope that you have all had a great week and I have posted a new video to my blog:

Autodesk Smoke: The Avid AAF Conforming Workflow

With Autodesk Smoke on the Mac, you can easily work with other Mac-based video editing applications like Avid Media Composer. *Conforming timelines from Avid Media Composer is an easy process that allows you to bring your timeline into Smoke and reconnect either to the original media or the Avid DNxHD media. *
*
This means that you don’t have to redo all your work when you move from an off-line stage to an on-line finishing stage. *
*
I would also like to mention that because Smoke is also an editor, you can do both editing and finishing in Smoke.

I hope this has shown you how simple the process of AAF conforming can be. *
*
Next week I will be showing XML conforming from Final Cut Pro 7.
*
Please keep the feedback and requests coming in….
*
Take care wherever you are and see you again really soon.
*
Signing off.
