nuke better than after effects ?

and when sking why i get this response :
1-it’ node based while AE is layers based
2-all grand studios use nuke
3-nuke for cmpositing/AE for motion graphics

but that doesn’t tell me anything !!!
so my question is why is nuke better for compositing …what can nuke does while AE doesn’t ?!!!
