SNES Classic Mini Hack: How to add your own games with HakChi2

In this video I show you how you can install your own custom SNES roms into the recently released Super Nintendo Classic Mini console.

This is an early version of the exploit, so it’s quite a few steps and a reasonably complicated process which is likely to become a bit easier in the coming few weeks. However if you want to get started adding your own Roms to the SNES mini today, this is the only method I am aware of which will allow for this.

You’ll need to download each of the following files in order to follow this video –

The Hakchi Tool can be downloaded from here:

Python 3.60 can be downloaded from here: (scroll down to bottom of the page to find the download links)

Notepad++ can be downloaded from here:
https://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v7.5.1.html

The sfc2sfrom.py script can be downloaded from here:
https://gist.github.com/anpage/4834433944a2875ee6d4cbb5786c6bf7#file-sfc2sfrom-py

Make sure you install Python to the “C:Python36” directory

You will also need to make sure you source your ROM files in .SFC file extension.
