In an Empty Wood

“In an Empty Wood” is an animation short film written and animated by Chia-Hsin Lee. The process of making this film was a fun and rewarding one. The poem itself took four months to drill, in which I am extremely grateful for all my friends who was willing to share their deep dark secrets of jealousy with me for the sake of my film. After settling down with the script, my visual development genius friend Erin McDermott sat down with me and helped me design the twisty trees and the creepy white atmosphere. Then came the technical aspect of how I was going to execute these designs. A lot of credit should be given to both my CG teachers Dariush Derakhshani and Andrew Bac for tolerating my constant questions, SOS flags, and weekend emails for the past 2 months. Towards the end of production was my favorite part of making a film – Sound. I owe my life to all the people who worked on it: Hao Feng for being the voice of my colors, he understood my story almost immediately while in the recording room; Kion Heidari for providing the ambience score and vocals behind the creepy atmosphere; Ben Scanlan for pulling out magical percussion sounds out of his magical bag; Alberto Cruz for helping me scramble a recording room 4 days before film deadline; and finally the incredible Ben Huff for mixing and making all the sound come together in one piece. Most importantly I need to thank all my friends and family for supporting me during crunch time. And watch other films made by my classmates!! https://vimeo.com/channels/calartscharanimfilms2018 And last, thank you, my Blue, whom I believe is doing something amazing on the other side of the world. This film is to you.

The Hide – It's Not The End of The World

Void Season – Extended OY Version

“Void Season” is a digital fashion design project. Part dreamlike theatre, part lateral cargo cult hustle, a succession of bold garment designs acts as an ersatz runway show. In a minimal set of solid backdrops, radiant colors and oblique choreography second the exquisite design of costumes that have been entirely artificially generated. A wealth of custom procedural surface detail emphasizes the uncanny rift between the realistic presence of the guises and the abstract vacancy of the digitized human movements. ZEITGUISED X OY: For the release of their track “A New Planet is Born”, ZEITGUISED supported their fabulous friends of OY with an extended edit to be used for their album promo and live touring visuals. CREDITS “A New Planet is Born” by OY is released on Crammed Discs All conceptual, design and production work: ZEITGUISED/foam Production outtakes on: instagram/zeitguised Original artwork sound design: Michael Fakesch

Artist Anatoliy Akue paint an abstract graffiti using SketchAR and augmented reality.

Anatoliy Akue is one of the famous and interesting mural artists in Russia. He created this modern abstract style graffiti using AR.

He used a smartphone (Lenovo Phab 2 Pro) with Tango technology to paint this mural. Special extra cameras of Tango technology allow you to detect the environment and fix a virtual sketch on a real wall.

Very soon we will add the option for general smartphones to paint on a wall. It will be possible with ARKit and ARCore.

Many thanks to our partner http://FGA.art for this awesome video of the process.
