All Marines, past and present, have earned their place in a culture of fighting to win. A new video, Anthem, brings fighting spirit of the Marine Corps to life through depiction of historical events.

Within their epic legacy, the Marines have consistently been ready when the nation was least ready, demonstrating a tradition of fighting and winning, always with a willingness to engage and determination to defeat any enemy. Their victories and achievements, in both war and peace, on and off the field, have not only created significant moments in history for our nation, but each of those moments was a battle won.

Anthem illustrates the significant battles Marines have fought and won, including:

• Belleau Wood – After 20 days of intense fighting during the German Spring Offensive of WWI near the Marne River in France
• Montford Point – The Montford Point Marines achieved victory at home when in 1942 President Roosevelt established a directive to allow African American men to fight for the Marine Corps; on the field they helped to win battles and changed the face of the Marine Corps.
• Iwo Jima – Amidst some of the fiercest and bloodiest fighting of the War in the Pacific of WWII, Marines captured the Japanese island of Iwo Jima during a five-week battle.
• Recruiting Training – In successfully completing recruit training, Marines win the ultimate battle over self-doubt
• Hurricane Sandy – After Hurricane Sandy slammed into the eastern coast of the US in 2012. Marines fought for the communities of New York and New Jersey, bringing aid, organization and much-needed manpower.

Maléfique était une très belle jeune femme au cœur pur, qui menait une existence idyllique dans le paisible royaume de la forêt, jusqu’à ce qu’un jour, une armée d’humains menace l’harmonie de son univers. Maléfique devient alors la protectrice la plus acharnée de son pays, mais une terrible trahison fait d’elle une femme au cœur de pierre. Jurant de se venger, elle affronte au cours d’une grande bataille le roi des hommes, et lance sa malédiction sur sa petite fille, Aurore, qui vient de naître. Mais tandis qu’Aurore grandit, Maléfique réalise que la jeune fille est la clé de la paix dans le royaume — et celle de son propre bonheur…
