Mocha to Shake shape data

Hi there,

Normally I just track in Mocha then attach my Rotoshape to the track in Shake. However, I thought I’d have a go at exporting shape data from Mocha and importing into Shake. To do this I am copying the .ssf to a Shake Rotoshape node. However, Shake always crashes when I do this. Am I missing something? Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong or offer me a step-by-step work around?

I’m on a Mac running Shake 4.1 and running Mocha 1.6

Thanks

modifying many nodes in one time

hi there guyz,
i was looking for a way to modify many nodes in one time in nuke….i wanna
delete animation on many nodes or i wanna put keys on many nodes!

in maya i can select many nodes in one time and in the channel editor i can add keyframes in one shot to all the nodes, so then i have only to offset my keys in the graph(curve) editor.

thanks in advance

VFX Challenge Team vs Individual

After seeing some other sites challenges and how they are organized I’m curious as to the way in which those here are done. I’m referring specifically to teams and individuals. Other sites split challenges up between the two, while here they are combined. Is there a specific motivation for this (i.e. to promote more community activity where people who don’t personally know each other team up) or is it just the way it has always been done?

My post is in no way intended to question the work of those teams who have taken part in the challenges, but more so to understand how the time allotted/invested (manpower) between the two (team vs. individual) is balanced out.
