Lokking for a Los Angeles Photography class

I decided that I would like to finally take a photography class.
Does anyone in the Los Angeles area (west side) know of a good one? Maybe a community college course. Preferably on the Weekends, but late nights can work too.

Thanks!!!

Particle generator questions

Hi, how do i assign a different image to a particle thats generated? What i have is a particle emitter attached to a light and use a image as particle, what i want to do is to use a clip with different images and that each particle generated is different, i can do this by duplicating the particle setup and assigning a different image to each one, but there are more than 30 images and want to it in one pass.

Python Question

Hi just working on a quick python tool and have come up against a problem.

i am creating a shuffle node and then trying to set it’s in parameter to be a channel in an incoming exr called "lighting".

I am using the below code

nuke.nodes.Shuffle(in="lighting", postage_stamp=True).setInput(0, nuke.selectedNode())

but this doesn’t work as the "in"parameter is color coded green as it must be a universal python command.

If i use in2 it works for the second shuffle input, but that is of no use to me.

If anyone understands what i have just rambled on about let me know

thanks

Dominoes

Dominoes

Dominoes by Wyld Stallyons is great new short film for the World Wildlife Fund that aims to encourage people to become activists for environmental change. The simple premise is well told through the metaphor of a domino that individual characters use to send their message. Great illustration, character design and animation and a lovely soundtrack top it off.

Yann Benedi and Céline Desrumaux animated and directed the film for Wyld Stallyons in just over three weeks. Céline was one of the film-makers who made Yankee Gal at Supinfocom in 2008, and Yann Benedi made Gary there in the same year. Both films are worth checking out if you haven’t yet seen them.

Céline Desrumaux’s post about Dominoes on her blog.
Yann Benedi’s here.
