Scenes of Monument Valley, New York City, the English countryside, a distant space station and a vast icescape were brought to life as a continuous shot by MPC in a recent stereo piece for Sky Movies. Here’s my interview at fxguide with MPC’s 3D supervisor Duncan McWilliam about shooting the 360 degree pan with a stereo rig, creating worlds and then stitching it altogether.
